Manuel Pato Melgarejo is a technical expert in the municipal area since 1985. After this long career, in which he has led numerous socio-economic issues, his experience in e-learning training programmes in the FMRM stands out, being responsible for the Training and Programmes area for 20 years. He is currently a member of the Economic and Social Council of the Region of Murcia (CES), European Movement of the Region of Murcia and previously Councillor and Deputy Mayor of the City Council of Murcia for 8 years.

He is also professor of materials chemistry in IMT Mines Ales since 1998. He has an experience in municipal affairs on the one hand, but also in the supervision of thesis work. This work has been the subject of scientific publications and oral presentation in international conferences.
