WP1 – Project management

Lead beneficiary: Università degli Studi di Macerata (UniMC), Italy

Objective of the WP: coordinating the project’s activities, in order to lead the project to the technical, organizational and financial achievements. The WP is linked to the set-up and running of the project bodies, management of the consortium (including mechanisms to ensure proper communication among Participants), fulfill reporting provisions included in the GA, ensuring quality management.

WP2 – Digital turn: new dimensions of trust and challenges for legal systems

Lead beneficiary: Università degli Studi di Macerata (UniMC), Italy

Objective of the WP: investigating the relationship between law and DLT from the perspective of trust, with a particular focus on the issues of relational and institutional reliance. The aim is to propose legal solutions to protect trust in the new digital scenario for EU.

WP3 – Widening blockchain technologies toward AI application

Lead beneficiary: Università Politecnica delle Marche (UNIVPM), Italy

Objective of the WP: understanding how and to what extent BCT can improve trust in the use of AI, and how to ensure interoperability of BCT towards AI.

WP4 – The transition from B2B to P2P business economy

Lead beneficiary: Ono Academic College (ONO), Isreal

Objective of the WP: investigating the effect of the transition from regulated centrally managed B2B economy to a decentralized distributed P2P blockchain economy.

WP5 – Smart cities

Lead beneficiary: Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), Spain

Objective of the WP: investigating how and to what extent the use of BCT may improve both citizen’s participation in the life of the city and increase the efficient use of public resources and spaces.

WP6 – Knowledge sharing

Lead beneficiary: Institut Mines-Télécom (IMT), France

Objective of the WP: coordinating and monitoring the knowledge-sharing program, including the specific activities and tools conceived to allow interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral transfer of knowledge and training, among Participants and seconded staff.

WP7 – Dissemination, Communication & Public engagement, Exploitation

Lead beneficiary: Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven), Belgium

Objective of the WP: guaranteeing appropriate communication/dissemination activities and IPR protection to sustain exploitation.
